Egyptian feature film project Straight to the Goal by Tamer Ashry won a monetary prize presented by iProductions at the
CineGouna SpringBoard, held within the El Gouna Film Festival (GFF). The iProductions prize offers $10,000 to the film
project to support it in its development phase.
Straight to the Goal follows Ali, a 20 year-old Egyptian football player, who moves to Marseille to join a pro-team. But
as Ali begins training, he gets seriously injured. Ali finds himself forced to discover the dark side of Marseille,

iProductions presented its prize at last year's CineGouna SpringBoard to the Palestinian film project Gaza DC by
